HOW TO EXTEND THE SERVICE LIFE OF ELECTRIC CURTAIN POLES

Electric curtain rods — This is a modern and functional solution for automating the opening and closing of curtains. They add convenience and comfort to the control of lighting and privacy in a room. To ensure the durability and reliability of electric curtain rods, it is important to follow a number of recommendations for care and operation.

How to extend the service life of electric curtain rods

  1. Routine Maintenance: Periodically inspect all curtain rod components for wear and damage. Cleaning from dust and dirt will help avoid jamming of the mechanism and reduce wear.
  2. Lubricate moving parts: Use special lubricants to prevent friction between moving parts. This will reduce wear and increase engine efficiency.
  3. Avoid overloading: Do not hang curtains that exceed the recommended weight on the electric curtain rod. Overloaded curtain rods may fail or damage the mechanism.
  4. Correct installation: Ensure that electric curtain rods are installed correctly and securely. Incorrect installation can place additional stress on the mechanisms and accelerate their wear.
  5. Protection from moisture and direct sunlight: If the cornice is located near sources of moisture or in direct sunlight, use protective covers or special coatings to protect the mechanism.

What is prohibited when using electric curtain rods

  • Using damp or wet curtains: Moisture can get into mechanisms and electrical components, causing corrosion or short circuits.
  • Mechanical impact on curtains when they move: Attempting to manually pull or stop the curtains while the motor is running may result in damage.
  • Ignoring system warnings: If the system indicates an overload or other problem, stop use immediately and check the mechanism.
  • Use of incompatible accessories or parts: Using parts not intended for your model of curtain rod may interfere with operation or damage the system.
